PESTICIDES

Pesticide is a substance or mixture of substances which aims to prevent, kill or control pests including disease vectors for humans and animals, species of plants or animal that are undesirable and can cause damage during the production of, processing, storage transportation, or marketing agricultural material ( including forestry products, fisheries and livestock product ).
The role of pesticides is not only used in agriculture to control factors that disturb microorganisms and animals but also in the forestry sector as timber preservation and other forest products as well.
Pesticide also plays a role in the health sector and the household to control human diseases vector (transmitter) and disturbances of the environment.
so the usage of pesticide leads to need of higher dosages or a more frequent dosage amount or even a combination of various kinds of pesticide. However, the thing that needs to be considered is the residue that arises from the pesticide. Pesticides can be classified based on the targeted organism, such as : Fungicides, Herbicides, Acaricides, Avicides, Chemosterilants, Insecticides, Molluscicides, Plant growth regulators, Virucides, Algicides, Bactericides, Insect attractants, mammal repellents, Rodenticides, Antifeedants, Bird repellents, Herbicide safeners, miscellaneous. Various pesticides can be grouped by it chemical compound. Several popular chemical compound families of pesticides are organoklorin, organofosfat, karbamat, etc. Based on the polarity, pesticides are divided into high polarity, medium polarity and no polarity.
